Grace Place

Summary

Purpose

Grace Place is one of Calvary Lutheran Church’s partner ministries in Thunder Bay.

Grace Place volunteers serve by preparing meals and cleaning in the morning. In the afternoon (1:00-4:00pm), volunteers serve food, bus tables, wash dishes, and wash tables.

Grace Place exists to feed & clothe the poor and less fortunate, to model the love of God, to love the unlovely and ‘to preach the good news of Jesus Christ, to bind up the broken-hearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and to release the prisoners from darkness.’

Isaiah 61:1
