Church Picnic May 30 2010
Today was a great day and we have much for which to give thanks as the people of God! We got to meet Pastor Brian and his wife Diane who visited and greeted with as many people as possible before and after church. The 'Calvary Aprons' slaved over a hot stove serving up hundreds of hotdogs and hamburgers for the annual church picnic, held this year right on the church grounds. Kids and adults alike were licking at ice cream cones, talking, laughing, playing games like the sack race, the parachute game, egg toss, and everybody's favourite - the water ballon toss! Afterwards, there was enough leftover food to feed everyone at Grace Place Ministries on Simpson Steet. "Thanks Lord, for such a wonderful day together."
